The Faculty Researcher Development Team

The Faculty Researcher Development Team is essentially the body who instigated the creation of the Ambassadors and their website is their primary communications centre.  It provides all relevant material for research staff (and post-graduate) development and support, including information about development opportunities and events. They are committed to providing first class development and career support to all researchers, and this also led to the adoption of The Principles of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers (see our Vitae and Concordat  pages). The University's recently published Research Strategy and Concordat Implementation Plan outlines details of how Research Staff can expect to be supported. You can find out about the Faculty Researcher Development Team members here, and their website is managed by Dee-Ann Johnson (the EPS Researcher Development Communications Officer). Highlights of their site include The Word (their blog covering news, events and comments), and they also have the full list of available training courses that they run.  Their regular bulletins, which they email to us all, provide a summary of the new training and development opportunities available.
