Other on-campus rooms
Other rooms on campus for larger meetings can be
booked via the Central Teaching Spaces. Their website
details how they can be contacted and the procedure for
viewing and booking. There are also other conference
and meeting facilities and rooms offered by the university
that can be booked for use, although some of these come
with a potential charge. For staff based in Simon building,
Julie Samson will be able to assist with the booking.
Ordering catering
If you want to order catering for your meeting (tea/coffee
and biscuits, or sandwiches), the university provides a
catering service called Taste Manchester. Their website
contains their menus and details of how to order. Please
note that it may be easier for you to arrange catering via
the Staff and Student Support Office; you’ll need to
provide them with a charge code and confirmation of
approval from the budget holder of the grant being
charged to. For staff based in Simon building, Julie
Samson will be able to assist with the order.
Travel support for guests
Please see our New to Manchester page for useful
transport and hotel information that you could provide to
guests travelling to Manchester for your meeting.
