Incite is a university-wide newsletter launched in 2008 and published several times a year, run by fellow research staff from across all four faculties in the university.  Its primary objective is similar to this SEAES Ambassadors’ website albeit on a broader scale: to keep research staff updated on skills training and other development opportunities.  It also provides a platform by which researchers can communicate, sharing their experiences and voicing their opinions.  Their entire back-catalogue is archived on their website, so check out this very useful resource to find out what’s happening research-wise in the university. We also want to emphasise that this isn’t some high-level thing hidden in the upper clouds of the university, but something anyone including research staff in SEAES can contribute to.  The research staff currently serving as editors are always on the look out for people to write something for the magazine or be interviewed etc., so feel free to contact them. As your Ambassadors, we try to make sure the printed versions of these magazines are available in the coffee / communal areas when they’re released.
